About Us — our family’s story

Josh grew up as the 4th generation here on the ranch located near the Missouri River Breaks in Central Montana. Together we are now raising our 5 children, a good bunch of cows, lots of chickens, a few pigs, and some haired sheep. It’s a good life and we’re doing our best to be good stewards of what God’s given us, while enjoying His creation & good gifts!

This has been a multi-generational family-operated ranch since 1929. While different enterprises have shifted throughout the past 100 years, raising cattle has always been a mainstay.

Today the ranch is operated primarily by our family, Josh’s mother & younger brother, and always with lots of support  from Josh’s Papa and Nana who also are on the ranch with us.

We’ve always enjoyed eating our home-raised beef. As ranchers we are raising cattle already — why not sell some of those same animals direct to the families in our community? Not only has this helped our family, but it has also provided natural, locally sourced meat, that is high quality and very cost effective!
